bigwords another fine source

Teachers can find some pretty good bargains at bigwords.com. I know I've located at least four or five different titles in used but perfectly satisfactory condition. And I saved a bundle.

Once again it's better to search by ISBN number than title because you'll avoid getting tricked, accidentally or otherwise, into ordering a previous edition.

bigwords performs a search for the best price. It's usually half.com, but you'll get a complete list to choose from.

Then it's up to the final vendor to bill and ship, etc. I've generally had very good and timely service.

It's time to save money on textbooks

Tired of seeing your whole budget going for textbooks? Here and there, the books disappear. Class sizes swell. A new section is added. There are ways to work around the regular channels school districts use. When possible, try these alternative sources.

A Textbook Case starts out with its first post with the obvious: Amazon.com.

A few tips:

Shop by ISBN number.

Do try for used books in good condition, but be careful when diverted to Amazon resellers. They're generally honest, but they're not against selling a prior edition, a support book, a related "Internet guide" or other supplemental books. Make sure it's the textbook you're ordering.

Compare prices at other sites.

A Textbook Case will work to bring you the best and most reliable ways to save money on textbook orders.
